The Duke's Head Hotel in King's Lynn is seeking a Restaurant and Bar Team Member to join our vibrant on-site team. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and help ensure every guest has an excellent experience in a bustling hotel restaurant and bar environment.

Ideal candidates bring energy, a willingness to learn, and strong communication to thrive during busy service periods, with flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a pro-rata basis.

We’re looking for a Restaurant and Bar Team Member that bring energy, curiosity and a can‑do spirit. Someone who loves the buzz of service and the joy of making someone’s day.

Situated in a prime town-centre location, The Duke’s Head is a historic hotel in the heart of King's Lynn, where period charm meets contemporary style. The property features 80 spacious guest rooms, alongside an much loved restaurant, lounge, and vibrant bar.

How you'll bring the magic to the floor as our Restaurant and Bar Team Member:

• Has a positive, can‑do attitude towards customers and other team.
• A genuine enthusiasm for learning about all things food and drink — including spirits, wines, cocktails, and delivering the “perfect serve”.
• A willingness to understand different food styles and service standards, learn the menus, and confidently explain dishes to customers.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interacting with guests in a lively, fast‑paced environment.
• The ability to deliver great service — taking orders, serving food and drink, processing payments, and ensuring every guest has an excellent experience.
• Commitment to meeting site service standards and working effectively as part of the team.
• A developing or good understanding of preparing coffees and serving alcohol and wine in both bar and restaurant settings.
• Availability to work opening and closing shifts, including weekends and bank holidays on a pro‑rata basis.
• A willingness to continue your development through in‑house and external training sessions.
