Job summary

A&O Shearman in London seeks a Business Development and Communications Manager to lead BD and communications within the Marketing team. You will translate strategy into tactical plans, manage client engagement, and advance responsible business initiatives across the firm while partnering with partners and teams to raise the firm's profile.

This role also oversees campaigns, events, podcasts and digital channels to build lasting client relationships and drive growth across global offices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience executing business development activities in professional services.
• Experience coordinating with partners, lawyers and marketing teams.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the firm’s responsible business client engagement program.
• Create and deliver a responsible business BD engagement strategy based on goals.
• Report on performance of the client engagement program and suggest ROI improvements.
• Support alliances and programs, advising on bespoke client development opportunities.
• Act as trusted advisor to leaders and teams to create opportunities for engagement.
