Job summary

Salford City Council, Granville Respite Care, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred support in a 14-bedroom respite service in Monton, Eccles. You will work with specialist practitioners to apply Positive Behaviour Support and ensure complex care needs are met.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting adults with complex care needs including learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours of concern.
• Ability to build positive and respectful relationships with people who use services, their families, carers and colleagues.
• Good communication skills with the ability to adapt approaches to meet the needs of individuals.
