Job summary

Salford Council seeks an experienced Registered Manager to lead the Granville Respite/Short Breaks Service in Eccles. You will provide strategic direction, ensure person-centred care and oversee a 14-bed service for individuals with learning or physical disabilities, autism, or complex needs.

The role requires a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or Leadership and Management, and proven experience in a similar setting with strong communication and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Manager with Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or Leadership and Management.
• Proven experience managing a similar care setting and passing CQC interviews.
• Excellent communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to Granville Respite/Short Breaks.
• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in line with legislation and CQC standards.
• Adapt to changing care needs and drive continuous quality improvement.
• Build strong relationships with families, carers, health professionals and commissioners.
• Maintain quality assurance systems to monitor outcomes and service fit.
