This exciting new position is for a team leader in Respiratory Medicine. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating, administration, and staff management, preferably within a hospital setting, though other administrative or PA experience will also be considered. The role requires working in a busy, sometimes demanding environment within a supportive team, demonstrating strong leadership and teamwork qualities.

  • The candidate should be able to manage and prioritize workload effectively, possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and work well under pressure. Initiative is essential. Excellent communication skills and a courteous, efficient telephone manner are required, as the role involves interaction with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals both on the phone and face-to-face. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.
  • The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the non-admitted Referral to Treatment (RTT), Partial Booking, On-Hold, and Inactive lists.
