Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Coordinator in the Respiratory Department. The role is Band 4, fixed term for 12 months, full-time (37.5 hours/week, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00) at Epsom & St Helier Hospital.

You will support high-quality patient care through administrative coordination of pathways from referral to discharge. Based in the Respiratory team, you will be the point of contact for administrative issues, tracking patients and coordinating

Qualifications

• GCSE English (or equivalent) good standard.
• NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or equivalent.
• Experience using IT/patient administration systems.
• Experience in a healthcare setting patient administration.
• Experience in a hospital/healthcare role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule an expanded programme of work.
• Support administration and outpatient activity scheduling for Respiratory.
• Provide essential administrative coordination to the Respiratory Service, with focus on ILD.
• Track patient referrals through treatment/discharge.
• Handle patient and clinician queries; provide day-to-day support; may work at both hospital sites.
