Job description

Compact Security Services is an independent security and crowd management provider situated in Manchester. We are now seeking a detail-oriented and well-organised individual to join our central resourcing and logistics team.

This position will be based from our Manchester office supporting teams across the UK, with occasional travel required, including overnight stays to support our festival accreditation and logistics team during the summer months.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our resourcing team, focusing on screening and vetting applicants for security positions, supporting recruitment and office administration, and assisting to ensure logistical arrangements for our team such as travel are in place. Additionally, you will receive training on our scheduling systems, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the department.

We are on the lookout for an exceptional candidate who demonstrates the following qualities:

  1. Strong organisational skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail, enabling effective planning and workload management to meet required deadlines.
  2. Proficient in using Excel to enhance productivity and streamline tasks.
  3. A collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
  4. Willingness to travel across the UK, including overnight stays when necessary, sometimes spanning several days.
  5. A background in security or events, with a genuine desire to advance a career in this industry, ideal for an event management graduate or someone interested in working within the events industry.
  6. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, along with familiarity in recruitment, screening, or staffing processes.

This role will be full-time, 40 hours per week based from our office. We offer a pension plan, employee assistance programme, and a range of discounts and benefits. Our office is conveniently located with excellent transportation links and free parking is available.
