Job summary

Vita Recruitment in London is seeking a Construction Recruitment Resourcer to join a busy and growing team. This fully office-based role involves sourcing and registering construction candidates, advertising vacancies, and supporting recruitment consultants with day-to-day requirements.

Experience in construction is important; recruitment experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, in a full-time permanent position.

About the Role

We are a busy and growing construction recruitment agency looking for a Construction Recruitment Resourcer to join our team.

This is a fully office-based position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The role will involve sourcing and registering construction candidates, advertising vacancies, carrying out compliance checks and supporting our recruitment consultants with their day-to-day requirements.

Previous experience within the construction industry is important for this role. We are looking for someone who understands construction roles, terminology and qualifications. Recruitment experience would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include sourcing candidates through job boards, CV databases and other recruitment platforms, advertising vacancies and reviewing CVs to identify suitable candidates.

You will speak with candidates by telephone, discuss their experience and availability, carry out initial screening and keep candidates updated about suitable opportunities.

A key part of the role will be candidate compliance, including checking Right to Work, qualifications, construction cards and tickets, references and other relevant documentation.

You will also liaise with clients to understand their requirements, help match suitable candidates to vacancies and work closely with our recruitment consultants to fill roles efficiently.

Maintaining accurate candidate records and providing a professional service to both candidates and clients will also be an important part of the position.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience within the construction industry and a good understanding of construction roles and qualifications.

You should be confident speaking to candidates and clients over the telephone, well organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment. Good communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.

You should be confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office and be comfortable working as part of a team.

Previous recruitment experience is desirable. We would also consider candidates with experience in construction, site administration, site management, trades, labour coordination or construction compliance who are looking to develop their career within recruitment.
