Job summary

Informed Solutions is seeking a Resource and Talent Manager to build and support talented teams delivering our digital transformation programmes. You’ll balance immediate resourcing priorities with longer-term workforce planning and talent development, partnering with delivery leaders, People Services and senior colleagues to understand capability needs and opportunities for our people.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in resource management, talent management, workforce planning, recruitment planning or related people-focused role.
• Experience coordinating people, capacity or skills across multiple teams or business areas.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.
• Confidence building trusted relationships with colleagues, managers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical resourcing or talent actions.
• Experience using spreadsheets, HR systems or resource management tools to produce insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a digital consultancy, technology business or project-based professional services environment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clear view of organisational capacity, skills, experience and availability across delivery Squads and teams.
• Collaborate with project and Squad leads to understand current and future resource requirements.
• Coordinate resource allocation across projects considering skills, development goals and client needs.
• Support workforce planning, identify capability gaps and recruitment opportunities.
• Develop relationships with colleagues to connect them with suitable project and development opportunities.
• Support recruitment planning with clear role profiles and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate recruitment activity with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers.
• Contribute to succession planning, career pathways and talent reviews.
• Provide resource, recruitment and talent insights for management decisions.
• Produce reports on utilisation, availability, recruitment progress, and risks.
• Improve resource management processes and ways of working.
• Promote inclusive, transparent decisions about project allocation and development.
• Support onboarding of new colleagues into Squads.
• Contribute to People Services and InformedACADEMY initiatives.
