Job summary

One Green Bean is seeking a Resource Manager to act as the central connector across the agency's Hub teams (Creative, Social, Design, Strategy). You will deploy teams effectively to maximise utilisation, profitability, and employee wellbeing, while supporting growth and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Traffic Manager, Resource Manager, or in a similar role in an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Monday.com, Pronto, Float would be advantageous.
• AI fluency and champion.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Own the agency-wide resource management process across Creative, Social, Design and Strategy teams.
• Identify potential resource constraints and proactively work to resolve them.
• Manage day-to-day scheduling and workload distribution.
• Balance competing priorities across multiple clients, campaigns and projects.
• Ensure resources are allocated efficiently whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor capacity and address over- or under-utilisation with managers.
• Address and resolve issues or conflicts during the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain understanding of team members’ workloads and skills.
• Facilitate regular resource meetings and ensure clear communication among stakeholders.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on risks or issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for resourcing requests.
• Influence stakeholders to make data-driven resourcing decisions.
• Develop short, medium and long-term agency resource forecasts.
• Partner with department leads to understand upcoming client requirements and pipelines.
• Identify future skill shortages and recommend hiring or freelancing.
• Support workforce planning and growth strategies.
• Support HR and Finance with scenario plans for peaks and changes.
