Job summary

Butlin's is seeking a People Partner for our Minehead resort to act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, championing culture and guiding leaders through everyday people operations. You will support all people activity, partnering with leaders across departments to develop a proactive people plan and ensure effective action with Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms and Payroll & Reward teams.

Based on the resort throughout the working week, you will manage diverse case work and coach

Qualifications

• Previous demonstratable experience in a People/HR role or leadership role.
• Good ER and employment law knowledge.
• Demonstratable experience of coaching leaders.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent interpersonal skills.
• A CIPD qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Improve team engagement.
• Reduction in long-term absence (LTO) management.
• Proactively managed ER cases.
• Handle day-to-day HR queries for the resort team.
• Coach and support leaders through employee relations matters including LTS, absence and performance.
• Collaborate with specialists to create People Plans and ensure action-based outcomes.
• Maintain all business org charts and weekly business partnering with HODs.
• Review exit interviews, identify trends and action plans.
• Coordinate changes to contracts with payroll.
• Work with ER lawyers on complex cases as needed.
• Analyse HR metrics against KPIs.
