People Partner - Onsite Resort HR & ER Leader

Job summary

Butlin's Conferences & Events in Bognor Regis is seeking a People Partner to support the resort’s people activity and develop a proactive people plan. You will partner with leaders across all areas, working with Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms and Payroll & Reward to anticipate and meet key requirements.

You’ll also manage resort-based case work, coaching leaders through complex employee relations matters and acting as a trusted advisor to the team.

Qualifications

• Previous demonstrable experience in a People/HR role.
• Good ER and employment law knowledge.
• Demonstrable experience of coaching leaders to take account.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• A CIPD qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Improved team engagement.
• Reduction in LTO.
• Proactively managed ER cases.
• Responsibility for all day-to-day HR queries for our Resort.
• Responsibility for coaching and supporting Leaders through a range of employee relations matters including LTS, Absence and Performance matters.
• Responsibility for supporting all employee engagement tasks.
• Working with specialists to create a People Plan for Hemel encompassing ER, Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms, etc.
• Maintain all business org charts.
• Run and monitor exit interviews and examine trends and set actions to improve.
• Maintain all efiles.
• Issue changes to contract terms with payroll.
• Work with ER specialists/lawyers on complex case work when needed.
