Job summary

Butlin's Minehead is seeking a People Partner to act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, champion the company culture, and guide leaders through daily people operations. You will work with the wider People Team across Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms and Payroll & Reward to plan proactive people activity and manage resort-based casework, with on-site presence throughout the week.

This role requires close collaboration with senior leaders and a passion for enhancing employee

Qualifications

• Previous demonstrable experience in a People/HR role/leadership role.
• Good ER and employment law knowledge.
• Demonstratable experience of coaching leaders to take account.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, excellent interpersonal skills and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• A CIPD qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Responsibility for all day-to-day HR queries for our Resort.
• Coaching and supporting Leaders through a range of employee relations matters including LTS, Absence and Performance matters.
• Working on business strategies, HR challenges and HR plans with Senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Responsibility for supporting all employee engagement tasks.
• Working alongside the People Team to create a People Plan for Hemel encompassing ER, Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms etc.
• Maintain all business org charts.
• Liaising and weekly business partnering with HODs and Managers.
• Run and monitor exit interviews and examine trends and set actions to improve.
• Issue changes to contract terms with payroll.
• Work with ER specialists/ lawyers on complex casework when needed.
• Analyzing human resource metrics and comparing results to KPIs.

Job description

We are looking for a People Partner to join our Minehead People Team to act as a trusted advisor to employees and Managers. In this role , you will champion our company culture, enhance employee lifecycle experience and Guide leaders through everyday people operations.

Responsible for supporting all people activity on the resort, working closely and partnering with leaders from across all areas to develop a people plan for both reactive and proactive people activity.

You will then work closely with specialists within the wider People Team to ensure any actions or activity is managed effectively. This will involve working with Recruitment, L&D, Internal Comms and Payroll & Reward to ensure we have future sight of any key requirements and can work effectively to support the team.

You will also manage any resort based case work which is varied in topic and complexity, supporting and coaching leaders through this and acting as a trusted advisor to team.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to be based on resort for the working week to ensure you’re accessible to team and Leaders
