Job summary

The Resolutions Business Partner sits within the centralised Resolutions team in Employee Relations, part of the Corporate division at Medway NHS Foundation Trust. The post leads on timely disciplinary and grievance investigations, alongside facilitation and mediation to resolve staff issues early.

Its holder manages the team as well as handling the Trust's most complex cases and leading reporting and service improvement work.

Qualifications

• Masters level or equivalent graduate qualification required.
• Postgraduate Diploma in HRM or employment law, or CIPD Level 7.
• Mediation or investigator qualification or commitment to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex HR investigations such as disciplinary, grievance, and harassment cases.
• Manage the Resolutions team, plan workloads and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare investigation reports and oversee final reports to a high standard.
• Attend formal hearings and present case statements to minimise tribunal risks.
• Advise managers on resolution options and provide conflict coaching.
• Develop policies, guides, and training on investigation processes.
