Job summary

Aviva plc in the United Kingdom is seeking an Operational Resilience Specialist – Scenario Testing, offering a salary circa £50,000. The role focuses on designing and delivering resilience scenario testing across the organisation, engaging senior stakeholders and turning insights into improvements.

You will lead exercises, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with business, technology and third‑party stakeholders to strengthen resilience and meet regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Operational Resilience regulations and supervisory expectations (Important Business Services, impact tolerances, resilience mapping).
• Experience designing and facilitating scenario tests, simulations and crisis exercises.
• Knowledge of business continuity, crisis management, disaster recovery, technology resilience and cyber resilience.
• Experience producing executive-level reporting and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and deliver a programme of resilience scenario testing across Aviva.
• Lead planning and facilitation of scenario exercises, simulations and resilience tests.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assess resilience capabilities and report to senior leaders.
• Support on-call crisis leadership rotation and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
