Job summary

83zero Ltd. is seeking an Operational Resilience Lead to drive the Technology Resilience framework across critical systems and processes. The role works 2–3 days per week at Gerrards Cross, offering hybrid UK-based work and a salary of £70,000–£75,000 plus benefits.

You will collaborate with product, engineering and IT teams to embed resilience, run tests, and report on resilience metrics to senior management. Previous cloud, ITSM and BC/DR experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Continuity and Operational Resilience, including BC plans, disaster recovery, recovery strategy, exercises, incident management, monitoring and reporting.
• Operational experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure or GCP) and VM's.
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 22301, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
• Development and testing of large-scale business recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the Technology Resilience framework across critical systems, business processes, and technology.
• Evaluate and assess current resilience status, categorise services based on business criticality, and develop a roadmap to reduce risks and increase uptime.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and IT teams to embed resilience in products and services.
• Provide SME on continuity and resilience for supplier onboarding and risk management in the supply chain.
• Quantify, document, and report resilience metrics with product and process owners.
• Design scenarios and tests to verify continuity and recovery plans.
