Aviva plc is seeking an Operational Resilience Specialist to translate regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes and provide expert governance and oversight across resilience and related risk disciplines. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence decision making across a large organisation.

Location includes Norwich, Bristol, Birmingham, York, Leeds, Manchester, Perth or Glasgow with 50% hybrid work.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Operational Resilience frameworks, regulations and industry best practice within financial services, ideally insurance.
• Experience providing governance, assurance, oversight or risk management across resilience, operational risk, business continuity or related disciplines.
• Ability to assess resilience exposures arising from business change, transformation programmes, acquisitions or strategic initiatives and provide practical recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge and engage effectively at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into clear, actionable business outcomes.

Operational Resilience Specialist – Salary circa £50,000

This is a great job for someone who has experience in Operational Resilience, operational risk, or resilience assurance within financial services and enjoys providing expert challenge, oversight and governance. This role would suit someone who can translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business outcomes, build strong stakeholder relationships, and influence decision‑making across a large organisation.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Knowledge of Operational Resilience frameworks, regulations and industry best practice within financial services, ideally insurance.
• Experience providing governance, assurance, oversight or risk management across resilience, operational risk, business continuity or related disciplines.

• Salary circa £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
