Job summary

Compass Homes is seeking Bank Support Workers to join a children’s home that prioritises care and safety. You will support children in care, help with daily routines, and build positive relationships in a non-judgemental environment.

No prior experience is required as full induction and ongoing training are provided. A valid manual driving licence is preferred, and you may work flexible hours including sleeps.

Qualifications

• Age 22+ to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Valid manual driving licence is preferred.
• Able to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with children in care, building positive relationships and safeguarding them.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some needing higher supervision and support.
• Assist with care of children and young people, supporting activities, hobbies and education.
• Create timetables and set boundaries and expectations for the children.
