Job summary

Care In Mind in Leeds is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to assist young people aged 16–30 with eating disorders and mental health needs. You will help with education, daily routines, and documenting care records in a supportive residential setting.

Role includes medication administration training and night shifts on occasion. Full training provided; DBS checked; full time 37.5 hours per week with a salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (not automatic).
• Must attend training throughout employment on weekdays.
• Good written skills to write basic reports and record information accurately.
• Basic IT skills and experience with online care systems and emails.
• Good verbal communication and listening abilities.
• Maintain professional working boundaries at all times.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and complete medication administration.
• Assist with education, household tasks and life skills to promote independence.
• Ensure the home is tidy and well maintained.
• Support young people with eating disorders and mental health needs.
• Contribute to incident management and documentation as required.
