Job summary

Care in Mind is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join our West Yorkshire team in Liversedge. You will work with young people to promote independence through education, household tasks and life skills, and you will update online care records and support medication administration.

The role involves shifts including weekends, and may include waking night coverage. You will need good written and verbal communication, basic IT skills, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.
• Attend training on Weekdays.
• Good written skills for basic reports and records.
• Basic IT skills for forms, online care system, emails.
• Good verbal communication and listening abilities.
• Maintain professional boundaries and stay calm in emergencies.
• NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Care.

Responsibilities
