Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Newport, South Wales, seeks a Team Leader for maternity cover in a children’s residential setting. You will lead shifts, support young residents, and ensure a consistent, caring environment while awaiting a permanent appointment.

Essential is 2 years in children’s residential care and a QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent. A driver with access to a company vehicle is required, with weekend and sleep-in shifts expected.

• Essential 2 years experience in children’s residential care.
• QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Driver; company provides a car during working hours.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.

• Maternity Cover Salary £31428.80 pa (plus £67.50 per sleep-in, average of 6-8 per month) Newport, South Wales Greenfield believe care should be in partnership with young people and we focus on creating a consistent, predictable and nurturing environment- an environment where young people feel valued, respected and listened to.

We are looking for a Team Leader for maternity cover , with a possibility of a permanent role for the right person with experience within a children’s Residential setting, holding QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, along with a positive attitude, friendly persona and a caring nature.
