Job summary

CareTech is seeking a Residential Team Leader for maternity cover in our Newport-based children’s homes. You will lead a team, ensure safeguarding, and support young people in a nurturing environment.

The role requires a QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in children's residential settings, with a positive, caring attitude. The position includes weekend and sleep-in shifts, a company vehicle during work hours, and access to ongoing

Residential Team Leader - Maternity Cover

Salary £31428.80 pa (plus £67.50 per sleep-in, average of 6-8 per month)

We are looking for a Team Leader for maternity cover , with a possibility of a permanent role for the right person with experience within a children’s Residential setting, holding QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, along with a positive attitude, friendly persona and a caring nature.

• QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent
