Job summary

CareTech Community Services is seeking a Residential Support Worker for Greenfields Children’s Service in Newtown, Powys. You will support children and young people in a residential home, delivering nurturing care within a safeguarding-focused team.

We offer training in trauma-informed care and a shift pattern of 3 on 6 off or 2 on 4 off, with sleep-ins paid. A full UK driving licence is required; sponsorship is not available. Competitive salary and benefits apply.

Role: Residential Support Worker (Children’s Residential Care, Full-Time)

Location: Newtown, Powys, SY15 (Residential Care Home)

Shift pattern 3 on 6 off, or 2 on 4 off. Includes Sleep In's (£67.50 per sleep in)

Salary: £28,632.24 - £31,253.04 per annum (including sleep-ins)

A full Manual UK driving licence is required and we are unable to offer sponsorship for this vacancy.

Essential

• Hold a full manual driving licence

• Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced residential care environment
• Enjoy activities and engaging with children and young people what activities, such as arts and crafts and outdoor games and activities.
