Progressive Independence in the United Kingdom is seeking a Residential Support Worker for day shifts with no overnight sleep-ins. The role focuses on supporting children and young people with emotional, social and practical needs, helping them build independence and achieve positive outcomes within a structured, safe home.

You will provide high-quality care, build trusted relationships, assist with education and daily activities, and follow safeguarding plans.

Formación

• Minimum of 15 months’ experience in children’s residential care.
• Direct experience supporting children and young people in residential childcare.
• Experience in adult care does not meet requirement.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide consistent, high-quality care and emotional support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Support education, activities, routines and independence.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and individual care plans.
• Work with families, professionals and colleagues to ensure consistency.
• Manage home environment and ensure clear communication between shifts.

Educación

Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health & Social Care - Children and Young People’s Workforce
