Job summary

Progressive Independence Limited is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker for day shifts with no sleep-ins to support children and young people with emotional, social and practical needs. You will work a structured 3-3-1 pattern, providing consistent care and helping residents build independence.

The role requires a minimum of 15 months in children's residential care, a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or related field, and an Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 months' experience in children's residential care.
• Direct experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting.
• DBS enhanced check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high-quality care and emotional support.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Support education, activities, daily routines and independence.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and individual care plans.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and external professionals.
