Job Description:

Salary £25,480 - £29,000 dependent on qualifications and experience. Additional rate for sleep in and waking night.
Permanent full-time positions (40 hours/week).
Location: Rainham, Essex, RM13.

We are a specialist service for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. We are looking for experienced individuals to work as Residential Support Workers, including senior management roles, at our residential care home for children and young people in Rainham, Essex. We offer a competitive salary from £25,480 to £29,000, plus additional pay for sleep ins. Our company has been operating for over 15 years in the social care sector. We are recruiting Residential Support Workers to support young people aged 8-18 with autism and learning disabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in and promote key working sessions with children and young people.
• Take part in the duty rota, including weekends and sleep-ins.
• Provide care and assist with daily tasks for children and young people.
• Organize and participate in social, leisure, and other activities with the young people.
• Work as a Key Worker to a child or children and develop care plans.

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with children and young people (or working towards it).
• Minimum two years of experience working with autism and learning disabilities in residential children's homes.
• Willingness to work weekends and sleep-ins.
