Job Description:

Salary £25,480 - £29,000 dependent on qualifications and experience. Additional rate for sleep ins and waking nights.

Permanent full-time positions (40 hours per week).

We are a specialist service for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs. We are looking for experienced individuals to work as Residential Support Workers (including senior management roles) for our residential care home in Hornchurch, Essex. We offer a competitive salary range from £25,480 to £29,000 plus additional pay for sleep ins.

We are a well-established company with 20 years in the social care sector. We are recruiting Residential Support Workers to support young people aged 8-18 with autism and learning disabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in and promote key working sessions with children and young people
• Take part in the duty rota, including weekends and sleep-ins
• Provide care and support with daily tasks for children and young people
• Organise and participate in social, leisure, and other activities with the young people
• Work as a Key Worker, develop care plans, and document progress

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with children and young people (or working towards it)
• Minimum two years of experience working with autism and learning disabilities in residential children's homes
• Willingness to work weekends and sleep-ins
