Job summary

West Street, Havant, operated under Hampshire County Council, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Residential Services Officer) to provide personalised care and support for adults with learning disabilities and additional needs. You will help service users develop essential life skills for independent living and safety within the service.

You will join a warm team, receive comprehensive induction and training, and grow through ongoing development and potential senior opportunities.

Qualifications

Understand the needs of the client group and have experience helping them achieve independence.
Demonstrate core values of patience, empathy and compassion.
Be a team player with strong collaborative skills.
Excellent communication skills for building relationships with clients, families, carers and professionals.
Sound IT skills and ability to accurately record information.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care: provide physical and emotional care, monitor health and well-being, and respond to needs.
