American Society of Civil Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer/Structural Engineer to join a growing London-based consultancy. You'll handle structural design for residential refurbishment and new-build projects, coordinating with architects and clients and delivering calculations and drawings.

The role supports engineers from early career to Chartered status, with site visits and a mix of office and site work, plus progression opportunities and a flexible work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and UK design standards knowledge.
• Experience in residential refurbishment, alteration and new-build projects is preferred.
• Experience producing structural calculations and coordinating with architects/clients.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and calculations for projects.
• Developing structural schemes from first principles.
• Coordinate designs with architects and clients.
• Attend sites and carry out inspections.
• Manage own workload and deadlines.
