Job summary

Skilled Careers in London is seeking a Structural Engineer with 2–5 years’ experience to join a growing UK consultancy, delivering building structures across residential, commercial, and other sectors. You will work on concept through construction and pursue Chartered status.

You will design structural solutions, perform analyses, produce drawings with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad, and collaborate with architects and contractors.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in a UK structural engineering consultancy.
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience on building structures projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or similar tools.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status (IStructE or ICE).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing structural solutions for a range of building projects.
• Carrying out structural analysis and design calculations.
• Producing drawings and technical documentation using design software.
• Working with tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla and Mathcad.
• Coordinating with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Attending site visits and inspections to review construction progress.
• Supporting the delivery of projects through all stages of design and construction.
