Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Main Contractor on a residential development in Fair Oak, Hampshire. The role reports to the Project Manager and starts ASAP on a 3-month contract.

You will oversee day-to-day site activities for two apartment blocks, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure safety, quality, and programme targets are met. Strong communication and site management qualifications are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience on residential developments.
• Strong experience delivering apartment schemes.
• Main Contractor or residential developer experience.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and sequencing.
• Strong subcontractor management skills.
• Proactive approach to programme, quality and health & safety.
• Excellent communication skills within a project team.
• Relevant Site Management qualifications/tickets.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of two residential apartment blocks.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team.
• Monitoring progress against programme and driving works forward.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety.
• Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards.
• Carrying out site inspections and resolving issues as they arise.
• Coordinating labour, materials and subcontractors.
• Reporting on progress to the Project Manager.
