Job summary

Berkeley Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of 29 town houses at Hertford Locks. You will manage work packages, coordinate trades, and supervise contractors to deliver high-quality homes on time.

You will apply traditional build expertise, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, and maintain rigorous safety and quality controls across the project. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and collaboration with project teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable Site Manager experience on traditionally built residential developments.
• Construction or engineering degree or equivalent.
• CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated work packages and coordinate trades through the build sequence.
• Supervise and monitor contractors, labour and site activities.
• Ensure work is completed to drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against the build programme and key milestones.
• Maintain records of delays, inspections, quality checks and site activity.
