Job summary

BCL Legal is assisting a leading national law firm in Birmingham to hire a Solicitor or Associate for its Housebuilder team. The role focuses on residential development work, providing cradle-to-grave support from land acquisitions to plot sales, with mentoring and career development in a market-leading property group.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year PQE in commercial property and show strong academics, with a keen interest in housebuilder work.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year PQE in commercial property.
Interest in residential development/housebuilder sector is advantageous.
Strong academics and technical proficiency.
Team-oriented with excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Responsibilities

Support partners and senior lawyers on residential development work including acquisitions, disposals, site assembly and land promotion.
Work across a broad range of real estate matters to build a rounded property-law foundation.
Assist with client relationship management and business development initiatives.
Collaborate with national and regional housebuilders to gain high-value experience.
Develop technical expertise and commercial acumen within a supportive team.
