Job summary

Vistry Group in Cheltenham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs on our residential projects. You will focus on minimising costs while maximising value, handling procurement, subcontracts, monthly payments and final accounts.

Qualifications

• HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent.
• HND or higher qualification is desirable.
• MCIOB or RICS membership preferable or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Attend design and development meetings to advise on cost implications.
• Prepare tender lists and procurement programme updates.
• Prepare cost analysis and stage payment schedules.
• Manage subcontractor costs, variations and final accounts.
• Check contract drawings for cost implications and errors.
• Liaise with Commercial team to resolve budget variances.
