Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd in Warrington is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Northern team. The role offers a salary between £40,000 and £55,000 with hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), plus benefits and career progression.

You will deliver pre and post-contract surveying services across a varied portfolio, support cost planning, procurement, valuations and cost reporting while working under experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction environment.
• Main contractor or contractor-side experience would be highly advantageous.
• Good understanding of both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Experience with procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Able to manage workloads effectively and work independently when required.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Assist with cost planning, estimating, tender documentation and Bills of Quantities.
• Support procurement processes and the management of subcontract packages.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports and final account information.
• Monitor project costs and assist with commercial reporting and change management.
• Attend client, site and project meetings as required.
• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors while developing responsibility for your own projects.
