Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Warrington team. The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day from home), with a salary of £40,000-£55,000 and a clear path for career development across residential, healthcare, commercial, education, and refurbishment sectors.

You will deliver pre and post-contract QS services, assist with cost planning and valuations, and support procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in a construction environment.
• Pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
• Experience with procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and work independently.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Assist with cost planning, estimating, tender documentation and Bills of Quantities.
• Support procurement processes and the management of subcontract packages.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports and final account information.
• Monitor project costs and assist with commercial reporting and change management.
• Attend client, site and project meetings as required.
• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors while developing responsibility for your own projects.

Bennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Northern team.

The successful candidate will join a business providing professional Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a broad range of sectors. Their project portfolio includes residential, healthcare, commercial, education, refurbishment and fit-out schemes, offering exposure to varied and interesting work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to continue progressing their career within a supportive and growing team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Directors, gaining exposure to a diverse project portfolio while taking increasing responsibility for their own work.
