Brenwards Ltd. in Northfleet seeks an Assistant Repairs Quality Inspector to join our family-friendly team. The role focuses on monitoring repairs, ensuring high standards, health and safety, and timely issue resolution.

You will inspect work during repairs, record findings, and coordinate with operatives and contractors to improve quality and resident satisfaction. Essential experience in repairs or maintenance, attention to detail, and strong communication are needed.

Formación

• Experience in repairs and maintenance or related trade.
• Good understanding of building repairs and workmanship standards.
• Keen eye for detail to identify defects and substandard work.
• Strong communication to raise quality concerns clearly.
• Ability to record findings and produce clear inspection reports.
• Organised, methodical, and able to prioritise tasks.
• Professional approach when dealing with residents and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to properties with a UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to undertake various tasks as directed by Management.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out quality inspections of repairs, void maintenance and improvement works.
• Inspect during repair processes to spot issues early.
• Check repairs against specifications and standards.
• Inspect works by in-house operatives and external contractors.
• Identify defects and remedial work requirements.
• Record findings, take photos, and maintain inspection reports.
• Communicate quality concerns clearly to teams.
• Follow up defects to ensure corrective work is completed.
• Carry out follow-up and re-inspections as needed.
• Monitor recurring issues and report trends to management.
• Help reduce repeat repairs and unnecessary visits while following safety practices.
