Job summary

Clyde Valley Group is recruiting a Property Services Technical Inspector to oversee inspections, quality assurance, and technical oversight across repairs and maintenance. You will report to the Property Services Senior Contract Lead and play a key role in delivering efficient responsive repairs and void works.

The role requires a SCQF level 7 qualification or equivalent in building, construction or surveying, plus experience in property inspections and comprehensive health and safety

Qualifications

• SCQF level 7 qualification in building, construction or surveying or related discipline.
• Experience conducting property inspections relating to repairs, maintenance or construction works.
• Understanding of landlord statutory health and safety requirements (gas, electrical, fire safety, water hygiene, etc.).
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage workloads and priorities.
• Understanding of quality assurance and inspection processes within repairs and maintenance services.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an efficient and effective responsive repairs service with high customer satisfaction.
• Undertake inspections to identify defects within void properties per policy timescales.
• Monitor and report on consultants and contractors to ensure works meet specifications, cost controls and expectations.
• Produce detailed reports on repairs/defects with remedial recommendations.
• Interpret technical reports on repairs/defects/stock condition for non-technical audiences.
