Job summary

Henderson Scott Limited is representing a well established Reading law firm seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion. The role covers sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, and new builds.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, FCILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5+ years PQE, with strong technical knowledge, excellent client care, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, FCILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5+ years PQE/equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage own varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Oversee transfers of equity, remortgages, and new build transactions.
• Work on shared ownership matters within a collaborative team.
