Job summary

Henderson Scott Limited in Bromsgrove is seeking a Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE to manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion in a well-established office.

You will handle a mix of sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold matters, and work closely with a regional team to maintain high client service standards while developing professional relationships and contributing to business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Minimum 5 years’ PQE in residential property conveyancing.
• Proven experience handling a variety of conveyancing matters.
• Strong communication, negotiation and client management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a range of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases.
• Handle freehold and leasehold work, including re-mortgages and country properties.
• Deal with shared ownership, right to buy, leases and easements in line with conveyancing processes.
• Progress files from instruction through to completion, keeping clients updated throughout.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice requirements.
• Share best practice and support the professional development of others.
• Contribute to business development activities when required.
