Job summary

Henderson Scott Limited is representing a well established Reading law firm seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion. The role covers sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages, and new builds.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor, FCILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5+ years PQE, with strong technical knowledge, excellent client care, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, FCILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5+ years PQE/equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

Residential Property Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join a well established and highly regarded law firm in Reading.

The Role

You will manage your own varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Transfers of equity
• Re-mortgages
• New build transactions
• Shared ownership matters

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor, FCILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer with ideally 2-5+ years' PQE/equivalent experience
• Have strong technical knowledge across all aspects of residential conveyancing
• Be confident managing a busy caseload independently
• Possess excellent communication and client care skills
• Have a proactive and commercially minded approach
• Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
