Job summary

Henderson Scott Limited is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our Dorset property team in Broadstone. You will manage a varied caseload from instruction through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

The successful candidate will have solid residential conveyancing experience, strong knowledge of property law, AML compliance, and excellent client communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer with residential experience
• Strong knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
• AML/regulatory compliance knowledge
• Experience with case management systems and online portals
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Client-focused with strong communication abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy transactional environment

Responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Include new build transactions and transfers of equity
• Oversee remortgages and related registrations
• Review title documentation and search results
• Raise and respond to enquiries
• Prepare contracts, transfers and mortgage documentation
• Manage exchange and completion processes
• Submit SDLT and HM Land Registry registrations
• Maintain regular communication with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors
