Job summary

Hcb-Solicitors in Harrow is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join our busy office on a full-time basis. The role requires at least 4 years PQE and a strong knowledge of the local area to handle all conveyancing matters end-to-end.

The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages and equity releases, with hybrid working available after probation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE in conveyancing required.
• Experience with residential property transactions.
• Knowledge of Harrow/local area beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle all conveyancing matters from instruction to post completion.
• Manage residential sales and purchases.
• Handle remortgage and equity release transactions.
• Check titles of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Deal with transfer of equity and matrimonial transfer.
• Provide support and training to conveyancing assistants.
• Develop client contacts in the local area.
• Cross refer clients to other departments where appropriate.

Job description

• 3. To handle remortgage transactions and equity release transactions.
• 4. To check titles of freehold and leasehold properties
• 5. To deal with the transfer of equity and matrimonial transfer
• 6. To provide suitable support and training to the department’s conveyancing assistants
• 7. To develop client contacts in the local area
• 8. To cross refer clients to other departments where appropriate.

An experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to work in our busy Harrow office full time, requesting at least 4 years PQE, knowledge of the local area is beneficial for this role.

Ability to run a full case load of all types of residential property transactions
