Job summary

Mallory Pryce is seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join our established Richmond team. This on-site role will support a varied caseload of residential and mixed‑use property matters, working closely with fee earners to move matters from instruction to post‑completion.

The role requires attention to detail, experience in conveyancing, and the ability to draft documents, conduct searches, and manage file progress within firm procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant within residential property/conveyancing.
• Understanding of Land Registry and SDLT basics.
• Accurate drafting and strong numeracy for completion statements and client documentation.
• Awareness of title issues and indemnity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support fee earners on residential property transactions from instruction to post-completion.
• Draft contracts, completion statements, and routine documents.
• Carry out searches, pre-contract enquiries, and review title reports.
• Prepare completion packs and manage client funds under supervision.
• Prepare Land Registry applications and liaise with Land Registry and HMRC as required.
• Ensure AML, KYC, and data protection compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and help improve precedents and workflows.
