Job summary

Role: Property Maintenance Supervisor (Lincs North West) based at Breagha House, Hayton, with satellite properties. Support the Group Property Manager in delivering a proactive maintenance service across residential care homes and schools.

Candidates should have GCSE level and a driving license; time-served experience in property maintenance with supervisory responsibilities is preferred. The role involves coordinating external contractors and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent educational attainment.
• Trade qualifications desirable but not essential with time-served experience.
• Class B driving licence is required.
• 5 years of property maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Base the role at Breagha House, Hayton, with satellite properties in the Lincs North West region.
• Assist the Group Property Manager in delivering a planned, proactive maintenance service.
• Support efficient handling of unplanned or emergency maintenance works.
• Coordinate external contractors and procurement of materials as required.
• Record faults, hazards and maintenance activities clearly and promptly.
• Liaise with care home/school managers on planned and reactive works.
• Schedule works with internal and external labour; arrange materials and plant.
• Apply Health and Safety Regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
• Supervise operatives and ensure competency and safety.
• Attend meetings and training, and keep documentation up-to-date.
• Promote good housekeeping and a professional demeanor.
• Always consider residents and staff as the clients.
