Job summary

Your Housing Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead the grounds and environmental services across Northwest sites. You will oversee tasks, inspections and customer service while ensuring safety and quality on every site.

The role requires hands-on experience with grounds maintenance, a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites. A strong team player mindset and proactive approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Supervising a team of Ground Maintenance and Environmental Services Operatives with safety first.
• Plan and organise team tasks to meet SLAs and high standards.
• Carry out site inspections using iAuditor.
• Resolve enquiries/complaints from customers or stakeholders.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and safety compliance.
• Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance and health & safety; valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise ground maintenance team and ensure safe working practices.
• Plan tasks to meet SLAs and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections using iAuditor.
• Address customer enquiries and issues promptly.
• Carry out grass cutting, pruning, herbicide applications as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment; support continuous improvement.
