Job summary

Para Group in Derby (with frequent travel to Leicester and Wolverhampton) seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to manage upkeep, repair and general maintenance of our facilities and equipment, ensuring peak efficiency and a safe working environment.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of building services, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and flexibility for after-hours emergencies. A full UK driving licence and Enhanced DBS check are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building services including glazing, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts or systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with setup to create a homely environment.
• Collaborate with other team members on larger maintenance projects.
