Job summary

FQPS Academy Ltd. seeks a Post Completion Assistant to support the HomeMove team in Swindon. You will manage post-completion work on residential files, with a contract running from 16 November 2026 to 31 March 2027.

You will handle SDLT returns, mortgage redemptions, Land Registry applications and file closures. Previous post-completion or conveyancing experience is essential, with advantageous exposure to exchange of contracts and completion statements.

Qualifications

• Post-completion experience in conveyancing is mandatory.
• Experience with residential conveyancing and post-completion tasks is preferred.
• Excellent communication, deadline awareness, and meticulous record-keeping are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit SDLT returns within deadlines.
• Arrange mortgage redemptions and confirm discharge.
• Submit Land Registry applications and respond to requisitions.
• Check registrations and send documents to clients and lenders.
• Serve notices on landlords and management companies.
• Help fee earners discharge undertakings and maintain records.
• Update systems and close completed files, handling remaining financials.
