Job summary

Choice Care Group is seeking a Maintenance Operative to perform general property maintenance and minor repairs across our residential properties. The role involves reactive repairs, basic decorating and carpentry, and coordinating with specialist contractors as needed.

You will work a standard 40-hour week, with an on-call rota and travel between sites within the South region. A mobile role with company van, tools, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• General property maintenance experience with hands-on tasks.
• Ability to perform minor repairs, decorating and carpentry.
• Good judgement on when to involve specialists.
• Respectful, patient approach when working in occupied homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs and planned maintenance across residential properties.
• Coordinate with specialist contractors for regulated work.
• Manage own workload and deliver tasks during assigned shifts.
