Job summary

Choice Care is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our East Region mobile team. You'll perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance across residential properties, delivering safe, comfortable and well-maintained homes for residents.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with on-call standby and travel as needed. We value practical skills in general property maintenance, decorating, carpentry, and problem solving, plus a can-do attitude and good communication.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of general property maintenance, facilities work or caretaking.
• Ability to complete minor repairs, decorating, carpentry and general household maintenance safely.
• Good judgment on when to involve specialists and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance across residential properties.
• Work across multiple sites as part of a regional mobile team.
• Coordinate with specialists for regulated work when required.
